Kristen Thompson

I’m Kristen Thompson, the creative behind KThomp Laser Designs and The KTD Collection, a family-run business focused on laser-engraved and UV-printed products, along with digital design files for makers. What started as making custom party favors for my family quickly turned into a multi-brand business serving customers and makers all over the country.

I’m best known for my work in tumbler engraving, seamless wrap designs, and rotary techniques, helping makers gain confidence and consistency in their engraving results. As my business grew, I learned that great craftsmanship alone isn’t enough - strong systems and thoughtful processes are what make growth sustainable.

This year, I’m excited to shift the conversation to the back-end of running a creative business. I’ll be sharing the workflows, organization strategies, and systems I’ve put in place to manage multiple sales channels, keep inventory and SKUs under control, and save time without sacrificing quality. I run my business alongside my husband Greg, and together we’ve built something that supports both our creativity and our family life.
