Hi! I'm Sonya aka Miss Crafty creator and owner of Miss Crafty Customs. My crafting journey started many moons ago when circuits had cartridges, but it wasn't until 2016 while serving as PTA Secretary and organizing teacher appreciation week that my craft turned into a business. It started with me making a teacher coaster for my kiddos teacher and once word got around I started making coasters for others. I have lots of teacher friends that then asked me to make things for their classroom and the rest is history from there. I gained local popularity and built a very successful Etsy shop before I entered into the Social Media space. I joined TikTok in 2020 and I created a new teacher coaster combining design aspects of my two most popular coasters, I posted my work and it went crazy viral. With posting consistently on social media my audience grew I left my full time job to pursue by business full time in 2023. That same year after 10,000 sales on Etsy, I left the platform and opened my website. I'm proof that with consistency, hard work and skill you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
