Sumita Patel
Sumita Patel is the co-owner of Home Bound Custom Decor, a thriving personalization business based in Atlanta, Georgia and the Customer Engagement Manager at LogoJET. A passionate maker and entrepreneur, Sumita specializes in helping creative businesses scale by combining laser engraving and UV printing technologies.
In 2020, Sumita and her husband Anuj launched Home Bound Custom Decor with a single hobby laser, turning what began as a small creative experiment into a six-figure business within its first year. Today, their operation has grown into a 2,000-square-foot warehouse equipped with seven lasers and two UV printers, producing personalized products that ship nationwide.
Prior to entering the maker industry full time, Sumita practiced as an attorney. Inspired by the rapid growth of their business and the creative potential of the maker community, she made the decision to leave her legal career to focus on building their company and helping others succeed in the personalization industry.
